To disable the password caching feature:
Windows:
1. Internet Explorer:
1. Select Tools from the top of the browser

2. Select Internet Options

3. Click on the “Content” tab at the top

4.

5. Remove any of the checks in the boxes under “Use AutoComplete for”

2. FireFox (Older Versions):
1. Select Tools from the top of the browser
Note: (Select “Edit, then Preferences for Unix variants of Firefox”)

3. Select Privacy Button on the left side of the window

“Saved Passwords” by clicking the
symbol
5. Click
in the highlighted field to clear any saved
passwords.
6. Remove the check from the box by “Remember Passwords” so future passwords will not be stored.

7. Click
to save the changes.
3. FireFox version 1.5:
1. Select Tools from the top of the browser

2. Select Clear Private Data

3. Place check marks into the boxes as indicated in the “Clear Private Data” window, then click “Clear Private Data Now”.
4. Netscape Navigator:
1. Select Tools from the top of the browser

2. Select Options

3. Select “Form Fill” button on the left side off the window

4. Select
“DefaultPasscard” under Passcards
saved then click ![]()

Mac Computers:
SAFARI:
1. Launch Safari, go to the "Safari" menu
2. Select "Preferences".
3. Select the "Auto-fill" tab.
4. The center item is labeled "User Names and Passwords" --- click the edit button opposite this item. You will be presented with a list of servers or sites, and the password key items for each. Highlight each item you wish to do away with and click delete.
5. When done, click Done, then uncheck the "User Names and Passwords" item, and close Safari's preferences.
6. To finalize your settings, you should quit and re-launch Safari.
FIREFOX / MOZILLA:
1. Launch Firefox, got to the "Firefox" menu
2. Select "preferences".
3. Select the "Privacy" Pane.
4. Expand "Saved Passwords" (you CAN click the "Clear" Button to remove them all, but if you wish to do it selectively, expand the item),
5. Select saved site passwords and click "delete".
6. Close all windows and restart Firefox.
INTERNET EXPLORER:
1. Launch IE, Go to the "Internet Explorer" Menu.
2. Select "Preferences".
3. In the resulting dialog, locate the "Network " Item in the left hand pane and expand it.
4. Select "Site Passwords" under this item.
5. Select and delete items from the list on the right.
6. Click OK when done, and restart the browser.
NETSCAPE
1. Launch the Browser, go to the "Netscape" menu.
2. Select preferences.
3. Expand the "Privacy and Security" item in the left pane.
4. Select Passwords, then click "Manage Stored Passwords" in the right pane...delete passwords as needed. You may also want to go back to the left pane, and select "Master Passwords" and eliminate or modify those, as well.
5. Shut down the browser to implement changes.
OPERA:
1. Launch the Browser, go to the "Tools" menu.

2. Select “Delete Private Data”

3. Place check marks into the boxes as indicated in the “Delete Private Data” window, then click “Delete”.
4. Shut down the browser to implement changes.
